Information about Family

POWERTRONIC INTELLIGENT PTi S is an electronic control gear (ECG) for use with high intensity discharge lamps that you install within the luminaire. It has an energy efficiency index of A2 and is particularly suitable for use in shoplighting, health and fitness settings (when installed in dry, corrosion-resistant areas) and for the creation of effect and accent lighting. POWERTRONIC INTELLIGENT PTi S is long-lived and reliable at maximum temperatures, and its compact dimensions and low weight make it easy to install even in small luminaires. It exhibits excellent thermal behavior for very high limit temperatures tc and ta, and gives you the reassurance of automatic lamp shutdown in the event of malfunction or the end of life.
Areas of application
  • Shop lighting
  • Health and fitness areas (in luminaires with protection class IP66 or higher)
  • Effect and accent lighting

Safety advice
Ballast losses and lamp heat radiation can lead to heat accumulation in a completely closed case. Therefore it is necessary to ensure that the temperature at the measuring point t of the ECG does not exceed the maximum value.
Attention!
For safety reasons disconnect the device before replacing the lamp!
Any conductive material must have a minimum distance of 4 mm to the front of the terminal block.
Installation by qualified electrician only.
Terminals for protective earth not suitable for any through connection.

Ecodesign regulation information:
Separate control gear and light sources must be disposed of at certified disposal companies in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) in the EU and with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013 in the UK. For this purpose, collection points for recycling centres and take-back systems (CRSO) are available from retailers or private disposal companies, which accept separate control gear and light sources free of charge. In this way, raw materials are conserved and materials are recycled.
